Active does not support direct import of bank statements or bank transactions. However, you can manually enter individual bank transactions as journal entries in a dataset if necessary. A more efficient approach is to create and maintain an Excel template to record bank transactions, then use these transactions to generate a trial balance within the same Excel template. You can then import that trial balance into Active using the Excel source option. Please refer to the help article on importing a trial balance from Excel.
