Overview: This article explains how Active manages planned product releases, regular maintenance windows, and hotfixes to ensure product reliability and continuous improvement. Understanding these processes helps users stay informed about potential impacts on system availability.

Planned product releases and system updates
What: We bring you new features and improvements, or perform scheduled system updates.
When: We plan to release new features or improvements on the first Monday after the 14th of each month, usually between:
Australia: 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM AEST
UK: 12:01 AM and 1:00 AM BST
Impact: You might encounter brief service outages or slower performance during the scheduled window.
Notifications:
We announce all planned releases and maintenance on our status page at least seven days before.
If we expect a release or maintenance to cause more than 2 hours of downtime, we'll notify you on the status page 30 days in advance.
How to stay informed: Visit our status page: -https://businessfitness.instatus.com/ and subscribe for product maintenance notifications.
You can stay informed about Workpaper content updates by subscribing to template changes directly from the Platform. To do this, go to Admin Centre > Workpaper Admin > Record Template, then click the Subscribe button at the top right. You'll receive email notifications whenever updates are made to record templates. Note that this option will require admin access to view.
Regular maintenance
What: We perform routine maintenance on our products, including deploying back-end services, security updates, and general housekeeping.
When:
Australia: Every Monday, 7:30 and 9:30 PM AEST
UK: Every Tuesday, 12:01 and 1:00 AM BST
Impact: Outages are unlikely, but you might experience temporary access issues during this maintenance window.
Notification: This is a recurring maintenance window. No separate notifications are sent.
Hotfixes
What: When critical bugs or security issues arise, we aim to fix them and release a hotfix as soon as possible.
When: Hotfixes might be deployed outside regular maintenance or planned release windows.
Impact: Downtime is unlikely with hotfixes. During the hotfix release, you might experience brief connectivity issues (less than 30 minutes).
Notification: No notifications are sent for hotfixes.
