Please refer to the Glossary for definitions of key terms used in this article.

Issue

'Something went wrong. Please contact support if the issue persists.
TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading "id")'.

Cause

This error occurs because our system is unable to access the specific URL—often due to permission restrictions on the file hosted on SharePoint or another cloud platform.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, DO NOT copy the URL from the browser’s address bar. Instead, follow these steps to generate a shareable link that can be properly accessed:

  1. Click the Share button in the top-right corner of the SharePoint file.

  2. In the sharing popup, click the cog icon next to 'Copy link' to access permission settings.

  3. Select Anyone and click Apply.

  4. Then, click Copy link.

Note: If the 'Anyone' option is not available in the Sharepoint file permission settings, please contact your IT team to enable this setting.
