How to delete and restore a binder

To assist users in deleting and restoring a binder where required.

Overview: A binder is able to be deleted if required. It is also able to be restored from within the recycle bin if required. This stores any deleted binders for up to 365 days after such time it has been deleted.

Deleting a binder

Navigate to the relevant binder. You can do this by either navigating to the client directly via the Clients tile, or searching for the binder in the Workpapers tile.

For this example, we will search for the binder in the Workpapers tile using the client filter.

From here, click on the View Details icon, as below.

Here, you will be able to select Delete Binder.

Follow the prompts to delete the binder by typing in the binder name and clicking Yes, I understand the consequences.

The binder has now been sent to the recycle bin.


Restoring a binder

Click on the Recycle Bin tab which shows a list of all the deleted binders from the past 365 days.

Search for the relevant binder. The filters can also be used to assist here.

Simply click the Restore Binder button, as below.

Click Yes to confirm you wish to restore the binder.

From here, you are able to select to Open Now or open Later.

To see if the binder has been restored successfully, navigate back to the Binders tab and search for the relevant binder.

The binder has now been restored.
