Issue
When creating a binder in Active Workpapers, users may encounter the error 'ArgumentException: Unable to find Client in Active Workpapers'.

Cause
Sync delay/propagation issues.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, navigate to the clients screen and click on the settings cog next to the relevant client:
Next, click on Product Versions at the top right, and then select the Sync button. After completing this step, attempt to create the binder again.
If a Module continues to show the error "Entity already exists. Unable to create duplicate", this can be resolved by ensuring that all clients in Active have a unique client code.

If you cannot find another client in the Clients screen that is already using the same client code, it may be that the client with that code has been deleted. In this case, please assign a different client code (for example, change ABC123 to ABC123z) and, if applicable, update the client code in your source practice management system as well. Then retry the sync and it should resolve the sync error.
